Tribute Pendant to G.Lombardini "Precious Stones Red Square"

The Collection is a Collaboration with an artist, the painter Giovanni Lombardini with whom the Creative Director of Florilège has been collaborating for some time, who has given us the exclusive privilege of being interpreted and paid homage.
Giovanni Lombardini is a painter who works on the intensity of color with a particular technique that he has perfected over the years. An ongoing commitment to the search for the most exciting color combinations, with figures always balanced between abstract and figurative sensations, color forms that suggest essential landscapes and mysterious objects, perceived rather than seen. The creative challenge was to find stones in nature that could recreate the intensity and suggestion of the painter's chromatic quest.
To do this, we chose the ancient technique known as commesso fiorentino, a special workmanship that allows fascinating and complex stone juxtapositions achievable only by great Italian craftsmen.

The shape of the pendant naturally accommodates the inlaid stones, ergonomics and a balance of volumes characterize the liquid shape of the metal, which holds the cabochon of the "compositum" (as Lorenzo de Medici described it) firmly and elegantly. Each gemstone is worked by hand, and some slight volumetric and perimeter differences in the design are visible, due to the artist's hand in the inlay that follows the lines of the crystal to magnify the gatteggiamento of the gems and their labradorescence. The counter link that holds the pendant is openable to make it possible to attach it to any chain.
